  • Accountable in a quality improvement process for an effective and efficient healthcare system and healthcare delivery.
Responsibilities
  1. Managing complex cases, working with the team to define a variety of clinical needs for our customers, they will assess, plan, implement and evaluate evidence-based, person-centered care.
  2. Review medical documentation and records for potential fraud, waste, abuse, or malpractice and identify trends in health care provider behavior and billing patterns.
  3. Perform continuous evaluation of the audit program and recommend specific standards to be utilized in the audit process.
  4. Analyze existing clinical audit practices and policies to define and ultimately implement changes to improve clinical integrity and overall hospital processes.
  5. Analyze clinical risk information and alert the management team with rising trends and hotspots, suggesting viable options for reduction and/or correction.
  6. Provide guidance and support to the medical team regarding the implementation of policies& procedures and ensure effective systems for evaluation are developed.

  • Medical Auditor will be responsible for assisting with/conducting audits of medical records, procedures, and any related medical activities to ensure quality and compliance with the standard set.
Responsibilities
  1. Support and assist in clinical audit to ensure the services given follow the latest guideline and SOP set.
  2. To carry out the post-pay audit and medical audit for a specific disease to compare the differences in claim, treatment, and outcome.
  3. Working together with the Standard, Quality, and Accreditation Department (SQA) to develop criteria for the accreditation of providers.
  4. Identify triggers based on the quality and appropriateness of health care services provided and not just financial triggers.
  5. Ensure the claim submission system will include the variable/entry that shows how the treatment/management had followed the CPG.
  6. To run of post-pay audit of selected disease/treatment, any outlier claims, or random sampling.
  7. Present the finding to the management committee/CEO and the proposal on how to make it better

  • This position is responsible to formulate and monitor the Corporate Scorecard and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in achieving the Company’s strategic objectives in positioning ProtectHealth as the Premier Not-for-Profit Healthcare Financing Service Provider. In addition, the incumbent will facilitate research, content management as well as compilation of presentations and reports.
Responsibilities
  1. Ensure suitable metrics and Corporate KPIs are in place to measure performance and progress of the Company.
  2. Responsible for monitoring and tracking of the Company’s scorecard and KPIs on the monthly tracker.
  3. Be a business partner with the various departments and guide teams in identifying any gaps to achieve the KPIs.
  4. Scan and research the business environment and healthcare industry for: i) content management to be used for internal and external presentations and reports ii) business opportunities to strategically position the Company (e.g. awards, speaking opportunities etc).
  5. Responsible for compiling the Department’s monthly reports.
  6. Facilitate the drafting of the Department’s policies, procedures and guidelines.
  7. Support the Corporate Communications Department in any other deliverables.

Role Description
  • Responsible for devising a comprehensive and effective media strategy and plan that will strengthen the brand positioning of ProtectHealth as well as management of relationships with the media and key stakeholders. Ensuring impactful and positive coverage of ProtectHealth and its programmes in positioning ProtectHealth as the Premier Not-for-Profit Healthcare Financing Service Provider.
Responsibilities
  1. Strategic Communications
    • Together with the Head, Corporate Communications, plan for the Company’s strategic communication that drives broader visibility of ProtectHealth as a Company and its programmes such as PeKa B40 and other initiatives as mandated by the Ministry of Health.
    • Develop ProtectHealth’s media strategies and engagement plans to ensure impactful and effective communication of ProtectHealth’s initiatives and programmes (PeKa B40, PICK, SPIKPA etc)
    • Provide editorial services and support for corporate write-ups and publications, for print, broadcast and digital platforms.
    • External analysis, monitoring and reporting, ensuring our external coverage is positive
    • Develop key messaging for ProtectHealth and build a reference of key messaging to enhance positive perception of ProtectHealth
    • Draft Management Papers, presentations and other reports
  2. External & Media Relations
    • Develop strategic content, ideas craft key messaging for media releases, as well as other media-related contents (speeches, FAQs, presentations etc)
    • Propose opportunities for media interviews, and other activities that help build the brand.
    • Plan and implement proactive PR initiatives and campaigns to create awareness of ProtectHealth’s programmes to enable stakeholders better understand the Social Agenda objectives of ProtectHealth. This includes the implementation of the media and social media plans.
    • Scan the business environment and media landscape for any story that can reinforce value and position the brand and bring these stories to life
    • Establish strong relationships and network through continuous engagement with the media.
    • Manage and respond to media queries
    • Negotiate with media channels for opportunities to feature relevant stories
    • Media and Social Media monitoring, as well as media analysis of publicity
    • Create and drive a strong social and digital media and advocacy agenda
    • Plan and organise press conferences, briefings and interviews.
  3. Issues & Crisis management
    • Proactively identify and manage communication for issues that may impact the organization’s reputation or appear in the media including crisis scenarios.
    • Advise senior management on the sensitivities, best practices and solutions to issues relating to media queries, public and any other issues
    • Actively play a role in proposing solutions to placate negative issues in the media to ensure ProtectHealth’s reputation is intact
    • Develop a strategy and plan for mitigation of the issue or crisis.
    • Deal directly with external stakeholders like Ministry of Health, Service Providers, NGOs, media etc to smoothly manage issues and prevent any crises.
  4. Soalan Dewan
    • Draft and coordinate responses for Parliament and State Legislative questions related to ProtectHealth
    • Represent ProtectHealth in briefings to the Ministry of Health regarding questions related to ProtectHealth and its initiatives/ programmes
    • Build and maintain a reference of key messaging and responses
  5. Branding
    • Create a strong branding for ProtectHealth to promote the company as a highly valued and respected corporate entity.
    • Safeguard the corporate reputation and ensure the Brand of ProtectHealth is intact including with our Service Providers and partners
    • Develop strategies to increase awareness of ProtectHealth’s brand and efforts across all target segments through effective channels
    • Identify and drive collaboration opportunities with relevant partners that will support the ProtectHealth brand story.
    • Ensure effectiveness of strategic advertising and promotional campaigns
    • Manage the production of corporate collaterals (PeKa B40 reports, brochures, buntings etc) to ensure prominent branding.

Requirements
  1. A Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Media, journalism, Public Relations, business management or other relevant disciplines.

Role Description
  • The Corporate Communications Executive job is a mid-level position. The incumbent will need to play roles in monitoring of projects / dashboards / KPIs as well as to assist in creating, implementing and overseeing communications programs, be it internal or external, that effectively describe and promote the organization and its products and services to the stakeholders.
Responsibilities
  1. Assist and support the Head of Department on the day-to-day operations related to Corporate Communications functions and roles.
  2. Consolidate and analyse workplan from all departments on a weekly basis to monitor key indicators on initiatives’ progress.
  3. Assist in identifying target audiences and stakeholders and understanding their needs
