18 MARCH 2022 – Booster dose appointments can now be made through the Booking Management System via MySejahtera app for appointment slots from March 21, 2022 (Monday) onwards, nationwide.
Following this, members of the public will be able to choose their preferred PPV as well as the date and time for booster dose vaccination via the app.
This booking for vaccination appointment is a Government initiative moving forward for the programme, compared to appointments issued by MySejahtera previously, to expand the coverage and expedite the booster dose vaccinations before the full vaccination privileges will be withdrawn from vaccine recipients who do not obtain the booster dose by 31 March 2022.
These are the steps to be taken:
- Go to the MySejahtera app home screen and tap on COVID-19 vaccination.
- Select the link ‘Click here to book your appointment’.
- Choose PPV name and address.
- Select an available vaccination slot (date and time). Click ‘See more’ for the appointment slots.
- Before clicking ‘Confirm’, ensure that the details are correct (i.e. type of vaccine, place of vaccination, date and time of vaccination).
- A confirmed vaccination slot will be reflected accordingly.
- Obtain your booster dose at the selected PPV based on the location and appointment slot selected.

“To ensure that the transition to the endemic phase commencing 1 April 2022 can be implemented safely, the focus is to foster community awareness and individual responsibility for compliance with SOPs and expand access to existing vaccination programmes, especially for senior citizens.
“Unvaccinated or unboosted elderlies with comorbidities have a higher risk of death if they contracted COVID-19. As Ramadhan is approaching soon, I advise everyone to get boosted as quickly as possible. Let’s protect our parents and family. Let’s increase our protection level before we enter the transition to the endemic phase.” he said.

To date, there are 2039 private health facility PPVs (private clinics, private specialist hospitals, private hospitals and ambulatory care centres) and 99 off-site PPVs under ProtectHealth are providing booster dose vaccinations.
As of 16 March 2022, a total of 15.3 million doses of vaccination for booster have been administered and 82.4% or 11.9 million were contributed by Private Medical Practitioners (PMPs) and Healthcare Non-Government Organisations (NGOs) under ProtectHealth.
